Lobuje being an attractive mountain offers various existing routes and also the potential for new peak climbing lovers. Lobuje east can be reached by descending a marked notch and then climbing steep snowy slopes to the top. Lobuche peack was first successfully climbed by Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa in 1984. The trekking to the Lobuche peak climbing begins with some 35-min flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and head up to Phakding, Namche Bazar and following the route that takes to Everest base camp up to Gorak Shep and then turn to the Kala Pathar and then the trail heads to Lobuche peak region. There is one another option that to follow Gokyo valley route and reach Chola pass and then head up to Lobuche peak.

Detailed Itinerary of Lobuche Peak East Climbing

Day 01: Arrive and Transfer to Hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Full Day sightseeing around Kathmandu. Visit Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath & Patan city. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,800m) 30 minutes, trek to Phakding (2,640m) 3 to 4 hours. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 04: Trekking from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,430m) 5 to 6 hours. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 05: Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar and visit Khumjung Village (3,790m). Overnight at Lodge.

Day 06: Trekking from Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3,867m) 5 hours. Overnight at Lodge .

Day 07: Trekking from Tyangboche to Dingboche (4,300m) 5 to 6 hours. Overnight at Lodge .

Day 08: Acclimatization day at Dingboche. Overnight at Lodge .

Day 09: Trekking from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,930m) 5 to 6 hours. Overnight at Lodge .

Day 10: Trekking from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5,140m) 3 hours & Everest Base Camp (5,364m) 2 to 3 hours. Overnight at Lodge .

Day 11: Trekking from Gorakshep to Kalapater (5,550m) 2 hours & Stroll back to Lobuche. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 12: Trek from Lobuche to Lobuche East Base Camp. Overnight at Tent

Day 13: Trek from Lobuche East Base Camp to High Camp. Overnight at Tent

Day 14: High Camp to Summit Lobuche East (6,119m) then back to Base Camp. Overnight at Tent

Day 15: Lobuche East Base Camp to Pangpoche 5 to 6 hours. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 16: Pangpoche to Namche Bazaar (3444m) 3 to 4 hrs. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 17: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m) 4 to 5 hours. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 18: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu and Overnight at Hotel.
