8 Days Tibet Overland
This is an adventure trip for travelers on a budget. The breath-taking trans-Himalayan flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa and Overland route from Lhasa to Nepal offer truly spectacular views of the Himalayas, mountain passes, ancient monasteries and fortresses from bygone era. We begin our tour by exploring fabled Lhasa: the magestic Potala Palace towers over the entire Lhasa valley; the Drepung Monastery is the largest monastic university in the Tibet; the Jokhang is the central cathedral; and the surround Barkhor market is bustling with pilgrim and traders.

Day 01 Arrive Gongari. Transfer to Lhasa

PM: Guided Tour of Norbulinka the summer palace of Dalai Lama.
Day 03 AM: Guided tour of Potala, the Winter Palace of Daial Lama.
PM: Guided tour of Drepung the Biggest Monastic University of Tibet.
Day 04 Drive to Gvantse via Yanidrok Lake, 260 KM. Visit Kunibom Stupa and Palcho Monastery.Over Night at Gyantse Hotel.
Day 05 Drive to Shegatse, Enroute visit Shalu Monastery. free Market
PM: Visit Tashilumpho Monastery the seat of Panchen Lama
Day 06 Drive to Xigar, enroute visit Sakva Monastery, Over Night at XiLai,
Day 07 Drive to Zangnmu Via Milarepa Cave Over Night at Zangmu
Day 08 Walk across the friendship Bridge & transfer to Kathmandu
